To be nominated for a Board of Directors position, the individual will:

1. be an active member of the VAHPERD,

2. be an member of AAHPERD, if selected as a candidate.

3. have previously served as a section officer,

4. have previously served as a vice president (or other elected Board officer), if nominated for president-elect,

5. assume the duties/responsibilities of the office for a three-year term (i.e." vice president-elect, vice president, and past vice president), and

6. not simultaneously hold more than one elected office in VAHPERD.
